Life Purpose Revealed
Action plan set up to impact every domain of your life!
Your stories come together!
You were heard.
Passion to live!
Now what is a LifePlan? It is a two day intensive interview with a woman one on one—about her life. You discuss childhood, family, friends, high school, college, dreams, marriage, deaths, divorce, the bad, the good, the ugly, values, spiritual gifts, the strongholds, the roadblocks—you get the picture.
A client said, “In September 2016, I drove 3-1/2 hours for my two day LifePlan with Darlene. I had worked hard at not setting expectations. I wanted to stay open and receptive to the experience. But, honestly … deep down … I really didn’t expect much. After all, I know myself pretty well. I’ve done a lot of therapy work, inventory work, journaling, retreats, etc. I didn’t think there was much more I could learn about me. I was just doing this as a requirement for my Life Coach certification. Boy, was I ever wrong! What happened in those two days was nothing short of amazing and inspirational. Darlene walked me through my life – from beginning to present. For the first time ever, I saw the whole picture. I saw how all the pieces fit together and that God’s grace and mercy was the glue. I went in questioning my purpose. And, I came out clear as a bell. I left with new determination, new confidence, and a renewed faith in God. I also left with a comprehensive, action-oriented, realistic three-year plan for achieving my goals and the desires of my heart. I believe everyone should go through this experience as least once in their lifetime. The benefits are truly amazing. Thanks, Darlene!” Nanci

Matter of fact, bring your heart along to be coached. It’s a requirement and welcomed!
As a coach, I dig into your heart, by asking you the questions.
A woman I’ve coached told me, “I thought coaching was, you would tell me what to do and I would just do it. I was wrong.
Instead, you asked me the questions. I answered and shared what was in me. You drew that out of me. I then stepped out to what was within. I came alive!”
What can empower a woman who’s stuck in toxicity?
I know what you are feeling.
Impossible, you might voice.
Where do I start? you might ask.
First, by recognizing that you need help. Then you begin. Step by step.
God never intended for you to be beaten down either mentally, emotionally and or physically. Your life does matter. I want to share two special friends with you. They have given me permission.
I have known Connie and Phyllis for over twenty years. We met when they were looking for a new church. I was happy to learn that they loved teaching, especially women Bible studies. They jumped right in at church. I recall sitting in their class and learning about the book of Genesis. Connie taught. Phyllis led in music.
If you were to meet either lady you would see a sparkle in her eye, a smile on her face, and you would know that there is something different about her.
In the last several years their life has taken a turn, a hard one at that. Connie has been diagnosed with Parkinson and myasthenia gravis. Phyllis has taken on the caregiver’s role.
Watching them travel down this road has been a true test that God does help in times of trouble. They’ve faithfully turned to God for direction, clarity, and wisdom as their lives have shifted to a different rhythm.
For Connie, a retired P. E. teacher, Parkinson has been grueling. Think about that, a woman that taught children about movement and sports, now God has allowed her body to be touched with Parkinson’s and myasthenia gravis.
Phyllis has been retired from years of working as an administrator in the trucking industry. She worked in just about every phase of it, from dispatching drivers, to billing, to the claims department, to the dock, and finally settling in the customer relations department. All involved working with customers and hopefully each customer was satisfied.
Now, Phyllis shifts and put her strengths and talents into action, such as planning and developing Con’s care steps. It’s truly inspiring.
Both women love the Lord, dig into their Bibles, care about their families and friends and have learned much about surrendering to the Lord. Yet, both women have wrestled with the limitations Parkinson has placed upon them.
The hardest for Con has been missing activities and not seeing family and friends at church. Yet the way she fights off self-pity is being proactive. She sends off hand written notes to her friends and family members or calls to encourage them on. And she loves praying by coloring. (see her picture)
Phyllis refuels by being outside. She loves working with wood and keeps the home front going. She grieves for her dear friend, yet knows a positive attitude will help her mind set while she entrust herself back under God’s hand, He is in charge and present.
I love how Phyllis has changed things up in their life to keep stepping forward and invite good things.
No longer do they take long road trips, instead shorter change-up road trips to the doctors and back.
No longer can they grab their fishing poles and head to the row boat, instead Con slowly walks to the dock and views the lake. She sucks in the fresh air and keeps on growing in the attitude of gratitude.
Likewise Phyllis steps outside their country lake home surrounded by tall pines and lets out her sighs of grief. But rejoices that they have such a place to live, de-stress, and yet be.
What impresses me is that both women are pushing forward to know, see, and understand what God has for them in this illness, and still learn how they can make a difference.
1. They have impacted Doctors, nurses, and friends in Florida.
2. In Michigan they have touched family and friends as well as doctors and nurses.
3. They have made heart to heart connections with the nurses and care workers that have entered their home.
4. Con’s prayers are answered, “The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much” (James 5:16b, NASB). I have seen her prayer book. It includes her great-nephews, niece, her family, friends, and herself. We have witnessed God answering her prayers: from a Doctor’s office calling her, a tree cutting estimate being low in price, a new doctor taking her on as a patient in Michigan, and on and on go her answers to prayers.
5. Phyllis is making a difference in the Care Givers Support Group.
6.They have impacted my life. My list is long. A big one is that they have served as two of my advisers for Hearts with a Purpose and are prayer warriors.
Two women living out their life purpose, right in the midst of what God has allowed. Reaching forward to all that God has called them to. May we likewise, be inspired to face whatever touches our life with an attitude such as theirs.
What challenging situation has God allowed in your life?
What do you believe you are to learn from that?
What do you need to let go of because of the new situation?
Are you desiring more clarity for your life- with some JOY?
Are you sick and tired of your stinky thinking?
Are you tired of trying to figure out your thoughts. Which is God talking to me and which is the lies I believe?
Learn the difference between Shame based thinking vs. God convicting us.
Women get tied up in these two. They wonder who is talking?
Don’t be bent over by lies, the truth will set you free.
God is for you, true! Shame is not. Get rid of the lies!
Have you ever wanted more clarity of why God created you?
Have you ever wanted to shrink down the “TO DO LIST” for something that really touches your heart?
Have you ever wanted to connect the dots to your life stories so you can SEE what the heck you are to be doing in your life? And then ACT on that info.
Well friend, a lifeplan answers all of those questions.
- The coach listens to you. (that means me) 🙂
- By me coaching you and asking you the questions, you gain clarity.
- By spending two days with me, you voice. I listen and we begin to see the pattern and passions that are written on your heart. (God did that to you.) Psalm 139…He knows all of your days.
- Then you start seeing how God has been at work in your life from the beginning and then we see what and where you are to head. We set up action steps that empower you and propel you into your future, living the intentional life meant for YOU!
- My lifeplan changed my LIFE!
I would appreciate your prayers. The next two days I am facilitating a woman’s Life on the Movie Screen…her lifeplan. God is calling women out into their passionate areas. I hope you are stepping out, if not, what is holding you back dear friend?
LOOK UP! God knows.
Look within. Your life purpose is written on your heart.
Listen to the voice of your heart. ( BUT, it must speak TRUTH, like God loves you and is for you. The negative self talk is NOT of God. I am not good enough, that is a lie.)
Will you investigate your life? I hope so. I don’t want to miss out on what you have to offer to me and others. God entrust us with our gifts. Please share them!
