Before our year flies by I want to challenge you with four questions. Try to find an hour in the next week to carve time out for you. Grab a cup of coffee, tea, or hot cocoa and pray, ponder and pen or pencil out your answers.
After all, “thoughts disentangle themselves passing over the lips and through pencil tips.” Anonymous
- What did you accomplish this year that you are proud of? Celebrate it. For me, I was able to write 90% of Stretch-marks, learning to live free from worldly hurts.
- What person brought you joy this year? For me, joy flew into my heart reading books and bonding with Mia, Bill’s seven year old granddaughter, and playing with Anastacia, my three year old granddaughter. Such simple joy viewing life through the eyes of a child.
- What tough stuff did you wade through and what did you learn? For me, to sit down for so long in an office chair to write…self-control to stay at the key board. Self-control is one of the fruit of the Spirit and God knows how to grow that in us.
- Have you ever picked out a word for the year that you sense God is highlighting for you? If not, pray on this project for 2017. Believe was my word for 2016. And this BELIEVE stared back at me every day from the top of my bookshelf. And that is exactly what I must do as I write, believe that my books will get published to teach women how to sow God’s Word to their heart offering them transformation living to walk out their life purpose for the Lord.
Offering her Peace! Passion! Purpose! JOY!
The abundant life that Jesus promised for her.
